Scholarship Program for International Students

The International Students Office at Capital University is pleased to announce the continuation of its International Students Scholarship Program for the tenth consecutive year, for the academic year 2026/2027. This is in line with the university's strategic goal of increasing the number of international students from various countries around the world.

The International Students Scholarship Program offered by Capital University has achieved remarkable success in previous years, receiving a warm welcome and a strong response from many representatives of foreign countries in Egypt, including ambassadors, cultural attachés, and international student representatives at the university. This year, the number of scholarships offered by the university has been increased to 60, awarded to students from countries around the world, and different scholarship tiers have been introduced in addition to full scholarships."

Important Instructions

  • Please read the entire list of instructions below carefully:

    • Incomplete applications or applications with missing information and attachments may not be considered.
    • An independent panel will review the submitted applications and select scholarship winners.
    • The deadline for applying is Saturday, 15th August 2026, 23:59:59 CDT.

How to Apply

First, the student must apply for admission as an international student in Egypt. This is done through the "Study in Egypt" platform, via the following link:
http://admission.study-in-egypt.gov.eg/

  • Select Capital University as your first choice on the "Study in Egypt" platform.
  • Upload the preliminary nomination letter 2026-2027, obtained from “Study in Egypt” platform, and the rest of the required documents to the application link:
  • The Admissions Office reserves the right to request official or certified printed copies of the certificates if necessary to evaluate the application.

Second: 

  • Students who are awarded the scholarships will be notified via email, and they must send a copy of the final admission letter for the academic year 2026-2027 obtained from the “Study in Egypt” platform.

  • Scholarships cover only the tuition fees mentioned in Table (1) and do not include admission fees, accommodation and living expenses, monthly stipends, travel expenses, any type of insurance (such as health insurance, etc.), university textbook expenses, visa fees, research material expenses for postgraduate students, or service fees (e.g., certificate issuance fees, etc.)."

Important Notes:

  1. It is essential to note that the condition for maintaining the scholarship in its entirety is to achieve at least an overall grade of "Good.". IF the student receives a "Pass" or "Conditional Pass" grade in one or two subjects, or fails, the student must pay the tuition fees for the new academic year and the scholarship will be reinstated if the student achieves at least an overall grade of "Good.".
  1. If a student on a scholarship for a regular program wishes to transfer to a special program, there is no objection to the transfer, provided that the faculty’s regulations permit it and the full tuition fees for the special program are paid.
  1. The continuation of the scholarship is conditional upon the student receiving a yearly renewal letter from the International Students Office, which must be presented along with a statement from the college showing the student's overall grade average for the previous academic year.
  1. IF a student submits a valid excuse accepted by the committee responsible for reviewing excuses at the faculty, the student's registration will be postponed to the following academic year, and the student will continue to receive the scholarship and be exempt from paying tuition fees. However, if a student fails without submitting a valid excuse, he/ she must pay the tuition fees for the year in which he/she failed.

At the beginning of the academic year, the student must visit the International Students Office in the first floor of the administrative building, to sign an agreement acknowledging their understanding of all the necessary conditions for continuing the scholarship. A copy of this agreement must be sent to the faculty in which the student is enrolled.

Regarding Postgraduate Scholarships:

If the student's study period exceeds the prescribed period for each stage of study (Diploma, Masters, Doctorate), the student must pay the tuition fees for each year exceeding the prescribed period, in accordance with the regulations and laws in force.
